1. Clinical Experience

The Institute is attached with Government Hospital and its own parent Hospital for the clinical practice of students. Community field experience is provided to the students by taking them to the attached CHC, PHC, Referral Hospital, and Sadar Hospital.

2. Transportation

The Institute has its own fleet of transport buses for providing conveyance to its students for clinical training, institute, and other field work.

3. Scholarship

The Basudeo Institute of Nursing Science awards merit scholarships to meritorious students scoring distinction in internal exams.

4. Sports

The students are encouraged to take part in indoor and outdoor sports activities and participate in inter-college or sports competitions. The Institute’s EV campus has a good playground, which is suitable for outdoor games.

5. Hostel

The Institute also has hostel facilities. It shall be the duty of every resident to maintain integrity of character and follow high traditions of discipline set by the Institute.
All residents are expected to return to the hostel by the stipulated time in the evening. Violation of these rules will invite heavy monetary fines and repeated offenses may lead to removal from the hostel.
Smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, dealing or consuming prohibited drugs, immoral conduct, entertaining unauthorized guests, and disturbing other hostellers are punishable violations of hostel discipline.
The hostel boasts of a hygienic modern kitchen which caters to the needs of the hostellers.

6. Library

A well-organized library is a window to the world from where one can view the entire realm of knowledge. The library of the college has its unique distinction of having over 10,000 volumes comprising various medical and general books, journals, etc., which help and inspire students to achieve all-round success in different walks of life.
